ALMERE, 8 June 2023 – Today, RGF Staffing launches an ambitious social impact program designed to support people facing barriers to employment and communities around the world through education, training, and work. The RGF Connect program bridges the gap by offering a range of social initiatives tailored to local challenges, collectively forming a global movement for real, meaningful change. RGF Connect aims to boost the development of more inclusive societies worldwide.

Yvonne Mastenbroek, Chief Sustainability Officer, RGF Staffing Global: “The RGF Connect initiative is all about building bridges and removing barriers. Our company is committed to creating opportunities for life. Around the world, far too many people still face persistent obstacles in their search for work and a meaningful career. RGF Connect contributes to building a more inclusive society for everyone and aligns with our ambition to become the most sustainable HR service provider by 2030. People are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to eliminate barriers, stigma, and prejudice.”

Local initiatives: heartwarming and meaningful
The RGF Connect program has been carefully prepared by enthusiastic “RGF Connectors” working for and with RGF Staffing’s operating companies around the world. Each local initiative focuses on a specific group of people currently facing barriers to employment—whether it’s underrepresented youth, single mothers, individuals experiencing age discrimination or inequality, people with disabilities, or former inmates. In addition to new initiatives, we already have many meaningful and heartwarming social projects. It is our intention to make these social initiatives even more comprehensive and impactful.

RGF Connect in the Netherlands
Fleur Klijnsmit, CEO RGF Staffing the Netherlands: “Our company strives every day to offer opportunities for life to everyone. But we also see that in the Netherlands, too many people still face persistent obstacles in their search for work—such as socio-economic disadvantage, cultural background, or mental well-being. Everyone knows someone in their environment who could use just a little extra support. I am convinced that with RGF Connect, we can help even more people move forward in their careers.”

In the Netherlands, RGF Connect focuses on young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who have not yet found their place in society. Research shows that an increasing number of young people are experiencing social isolation, and more than 50 percent feel uncertain about their future. These are exactly the young people RGF Staffing aims to support. RGF Connect is a 16-week program that goes beyond traditional workshops and dull presentations. We have created a dynamic mix of sports activities, inspiring speakers, influencers, and interactive workshops that offer young people a platform to grow, discover their passions, and make an impact. From vitality and personal development to financial literacy, education and employment, and personal branding—our program takes a holistic approach to address the most important aspects of young people’s lives. Through this, we build confidence in their own talents, self-awareness, social skills, and participation in society. The program is guided by career coaches from USG Restart. Afterwards, participants work together with an RGF Staffing employee to actively achieve the goals they have set.

After the summer, RGF Connect will launch with a group of 15 young participants in Almere. The program will then be expanded to other cities. Participation in the program is free of charge.
